Alexander (2004) 720p Br-Rip [X264 - Ac3 - 1.2GB] Tamil Dubbed Movie An epic film that tackles war, heroism, and the meaning of life. Based on the book Alexander The Great by P.J.O'Rourke back in 2004, "Alexander" now has a new look at being filmed from a different angle. The film has received mixed to negative reviews from critics, mainly focusing on the way it depicted Alexander's life. This film opens the day of Alexander's death, with everyone remembering him as a hero. After his death, his general Ptolemy presents Alexander's story to the audience in the form of flashbacks. These flashbacks are told to young prince Juba who wants to know how Alexander became a great warrior and king. The first scene shows King Philip II growing tired of his pregnant wife Olympias because she "is too ambitious". When she gives birth, he takes her newborn son and throws it into an abyss because he is illegitimate. After that, he marries her again and she has his legitimate son named Alexander. Alexander later becomes the most powerful king in the known world. He says that he is willing to die for his country but not for others. Juba is kidnapped by Ptolemy, who tells him about Alexander's character and how he lost his father, mother, and his brother at a young age. Juba accepts Ptolemy's offer of being trained to understand the military techniques of Alexander so that he may be able to defeat his enemies. Whilst on his training, Ptolemy gets banished from King Philip II's kingdom because the king thinks Ptolemy is too talented for him to trust him with power. After being exiled, he gives Juba some advice about Alexander. After successfully defeating the Persians, Ptolemy is now the leader of the Greek League. He gathers an army larger than Alexander's to defeat him. But after some time, they both fight each other and Juba must choose between friendship or loyalty to his uncle. Ptolemy eventually defeats Alexander and his army, then tells Juba that he should be more loyal to him now that he is defeated. Juba chooses loyalty but instead of dying like Alexander, he escapes with his army and becomes a living legend in one day. All children face obstacles in their lives, but only some find strength in adversity, turning challenges into achievements. The film achieved mixed to negative reviews from critics and was a box office bomb, grossing $10 million in the US and $54 million worldwide. Rotten Tomatoes reported that 34% of 134 sampled critics gave the film positive reviews, with an average score of 5.2/10; the site's critical consensus reads: ""Attractive visuals and brisk action sequences can't cover the fact that "Alexander" is an unsatisfying epic -- despite a solid performance from Colin Farrell." Metacritic reported the film had an average score of 48 out of 100, based on 30 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews". Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave a grade B+ grade. cfa1e77820
